Several workers, probably employees of Pacific University, sorting index cards in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) of Washburne Hall, while a line of people (presumably students) waits. Based on another photograph that appears to have been taken on the same day and their proximity to the Mail Center, they may have been helping students to set up or access postal services.
