Letter from Harold Lonsdale (President of Bend Research, Inc.) to Dave Frohnmayer (Attorney General for the state of Oregon) in support of the Rajneeshpuram. The letter describes a recent visit to the Rajneesh compound.

Unsigned proclamation by Oregon's Governor Victor Atiyeh, that would have established martial law in Jefferson and Wasco counties in response to the Rajneesh crisis near Antelope, Oregon. Atiyeh never signed this proclamation, but he kept a copy with him at all times in case there was a sudden need for state intervention. Excerpt of entries for September 6-14, 1984 from a log kept for the Governor of State Police reports and investigations regarding the situation in Rajneeshpuram. The log covers a time period when the Rajneesh were clashing with nearby residents over voter registrations for the upcoming November elections. The police note that the Rajneesh are bussing in homeless people in order to register them as voters. The notes recommend that the State Police oversee security in the area, as they are seen as being more neutral than the local authorities.
